The Regional Finance Controller position will report to the Vice President of Corporate Controlling.  The Regional Finance Controller is accountable for administrative oversight and operations of the North American Subsidiary, including the development of short and long- term financial plans, and the running of standard business reports. The Regional Finance Controller will facilitate regional management and control of the financial close process, and the oversight of planning, coordinating, and managing the production of consolidated annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, business planning, and performance management across the region. This position requires a strong focus on business partnership, collaborating closely with various departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.


Qualifications:
  • Min 5 years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, audit or international accounting
  • Ideally some understanding of IFRS but strong US GAAP background also ok
  • Ideally some experience in the software industry or an understanding of B2B software business models
  • Experience with international matrix organizations
  • Strong personality, able to drive the profitability and compliance agenda cross-functionally in the Region and headquarter.
Responsibilities:
  • Being the financial Business Partner the regional management team for all financial and profitability
  • Strong Partnership and driver of strong collaboration with Finance Accounting and HR
  • Partner with Sales team to maximize the profitability of the new deals
  • Work closely with the Project Delivery team to ensure the projects are delivered on time and at cost
  • In collaboration with HR, plan and analyze the personnel costs of the US business & ensure proper bonus accruals based on business performance
  • Closely interact with SNP HQ Finance / Controlling team in Heidelberg/Germany

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors or Master’s in Business Administration and Accounting preferred.
  • Experience in auditing, FP&A, cost control accounting and/or as a Finance Manager.
  • Experience in software and/or consulting businesses a plus.
  • Located in or around Irving, Texas
  • Must reside in the US
